63-07908, Boeing build number B-062, was a CH-47A helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 29 June 1964. 63-07908 accumulated 1,944.3 aircraft hours.

   At some point, 63-07908 was assigned to C Company - "Crimson Tide", 228th Assault Support Helicopter Battalion (ASHB) in the Republic of Vietnam (RVN).

   On 18 September 1965, while conducting a combat mission, the Flight Engineer was killed. While decending into a hot Landing Zone (LZ), SP5 Larry L. Truesdale was struck in the head by ground fire while manning an M60. The aircraft sustained ten hits.

   At some point, 63-07908 was possibly in storage at Davis Monthan through about February 1992.

   On 10 April 1992, 63-07908 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 92-00290.

   The last known location of 63-07908 was at Boeing during the conversion.
