   At some point in the early 1970s, 66-19056 was transferred to the 237th Vietnamese Air Force (VNAF), in the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) and remained there until it was lost in combat.

   On 5 December 1974, 66-19056 was struck by an infra-red guided, shoulder fired SA-7 heat seeking missile.

   The crew of five and 10 passengers sustained fatal injuries.

   The last known location of 66-19056 was in the Republic of Vietnam.
