The U.S. Army acceptance date was 23 September 1968. 68-15817 accumulated 4,324.0 aircraft hours.    At some point, 68-15817 was assigned to the 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company - "Hillclimbers", located at Vang Tau in the Republic of Vietnam (RVN).    On 7 November 1990, 68-15817 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 90-00224.    The last known location of 68-15817 was at Boeing during the conversion.    Aircraft status: Converted to D model.
