The Heater Compartment of 91-00256. This is a 500,000 BTU heater capable of warming the entire aircraft even in sub zero or artic conditions. Also housed in the Heater Compartment is the aircraft winch used to load and offload heavy equipment into the main cabin. The winch can also be set up as a resue hoist giving the flight crew the capability to extract personnel from the battlefield via the lower utility hatch in the main cabin.
