WITH SERIAL NUMBERS UW2407 AND PRIOR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY
HEAT TREATED.  HORIZONTAL HINGE PINS WITH THESE SERIAL NUMBERS
ARE REQUIRED TO BE HARDNESS TESTED AT THE NEXT OVERHAUL OR NO
LATER THAN 4800 FLIGHT HOURS TOTAL TIME SINCE NEW (TTSN).  THE
HARDNESS TEST WILL BE CONDUCTED BY THE OVERHAUL FACILITY.
HORIZONTAL HINGE PINS THAT PASS THE HARDNESS TEST WILL BE RE-
IDENTIFIED WITH A SUFFIX "A" VIBRO ENGRAVED AFTER THE SERIAL
NUMBER.
