    A.  GEN-93-ASAM-13 REQUIRED THAT ALL REQUESTS FOR DISPOSITION OF
DAMAGED, DETERIORATED OR DESTROYED AIRCRAFT SHOULD BE SENT TO
USAATCOM, ATTN: AMSAT-I-MDM. THIS INFORMATION WAS INCORRECT.  ALL
REQUESTS FOR DISPOSITION OF DAMAGED, DESTROYED OR DETERIORATED
AIRCRAFT SHOULD BE SENT TO USAATCOM, ATTN: AMSAT-I-SB.
    B.  AVIM UNITS MAY PERFORM LIMITED DEPOT REPAIR OF AN ITEM WHEN
AUTHORIZED BY ATCOM.  REPAIR ACTIONS ARE DESIGNATED AS EITHER A
ONE TIME REPAIR (OTR) OR SPECIALIZED REPAIR ACTIVITY (SRA).  AN SRA
INVOLVES RECURRING DEPOT REPAIRS OVER AN EXTENDED TIME PERIOD AND IS
GOVERNED BY AR 750-1.  REQUEST FOR SRA WILL BE SUBMITTED THRU THE
ATCOM LAR TO ATCOM, ATTN:  AMSAT-I-ME IAW REFERENCED MESSAGES IN
PARAGRAPH 13A AND 13B.  AR 750-1 IS CURRENTLY BEING UPDATED TO
INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION.  AN OTR IS A SINGLE REPAIR OF AN
INDIVIDUAL ITEM.  REQUEST FOR OTR WILL BE SUBMITTED THRU THE ATCOM
LAR TO THE LOCAL LIAISON ENGINEER OR TO USAATCOM, ATTN:  AMSAT-I-ME.
EACH OTR REQUEST WILL CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
         (1)  AIRCRAFT MISSION, DESIGN AND SERIES.
         (2)  SERIAL NUMBER OF THE AIRCRAFT AND SERIAL NUMBER OF THE
ITEM TO BE REPAIRED.
         (3)  NOMENCLATURE OF THE ITEM TO BE REPAIRED.
         (4)  NSN OF THE ITEM TO BE REPAIRED.
         (5)  PART NUMBER OF THE ITEM TO BE REPAIRED.
         (6)  A STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE NECESSARY
PICTURES/DIAGRAMS.
         (7)  A STATEMENT OF THE REQUIRED TOOLING/FIXTURES AND THEIR
AVAILABILITY.
         (8)  PROPOSED REPAIR PROCEDURES NECESSARY TO MAKE THE
REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND ARE THE PROCEDURES AND INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE
TO YOU, SUCH AS DMWR'S ETC., PROPOSED REPAIR PROCEDURES MUST BE
SPECIFIC.
         (9)  UNIT PERSONNEL CAPABILITY AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE
TASK.
