             69-17123, Boeing build number B-638, was a CH-47C helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date was 21 November 1970. 69-17123 accumulated 2,602.0 aircraft hours.

   At some point, 69-17123 was assigned to 213th Assault Support Helicopter Company (ASHC) - "Black Cats", 2nd Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, 17th Aviation Brigade, Desiderio Army Airfield (RKSG or A-511), Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea, through an unknown end date.

  At some point the 213th Aviation Company was redesignated A Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment. In the late 1980s, the unit was again redesignated, this time as A Company, 2nd Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment.

   At some point prior to May 1988, 69-17123 was transferred to the Continental United States (CONUS) and assigned to an unknown unit.

   On 21 November 1988, 69-17123 was inducted into the D model program and converted to 88-00097.

   The last known location of 69-17123 was at Boeing during the conversion.
