             11-08835, Boeing Vertol Tab Number unknown, U.S. Army Tab Number M8835, was a CH-47F helicopter. The U.S. Army acceptance date is unknown. As of 11 January 2014, 11-08835 accumulated an unknown number of aircraft hours.

   11-08835 was a new build airframe with all new components installed.

   11-08835 was initially assigned to B Company - "Innkeepers", 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 2nd Aviation Regiment, located on Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea (ROK), beginning in November 2013.

   11-08835 was received by the New Equipment Training Team (NETT) at Millville Municipal Airport (KMIV) on 10 September 2013 for an aircraft delivery ferry flight to the Port of Baltimore to await surface vessel movement to the Republic of Korea. 11-08835 was one of 12 CH-47F airframes moved to the port during the period of 10 through 13 September 2013.

   The unit in Korea would receive eight completely brand new airframes and four brand new airframes with used dynamic components.

   During the first week of November 2013, the ship "Lightning" arrived at Pier 8 at the Port of Busan, Republic of Korea, carrying the 12 CH-47F helicopters along with two CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulators (TFPS).

   Crewmembers from the ship and members of the Boeing Maintenance Team quickly unloaded the aircraft, along with the TFPS, and began the build-up procedures to restore the aircraft to flyable status. This included essentially removing various protective shipping materials and reinstalling the rotor blades.

   Aircrews from the CH-47F NET Team conducted preflight and airworthiness inspections in preparation for the ferry flight to Camp Humphreys.

   On 12 September 2013, of the 12 ferried, 11-08835 was the fifth aircraft to arrive at the Port of Baltimore. From Pier 8, 11-08835 was the fourth CH-47F aircraft ferried to Camp Humphreys. It arrived on 4 November 2013 and on both occassions was flown by members of the CH-47F NET Team, as well as the unit commander during the ferry flight in the ROK.

   From mid-November to mid-December, 11-08835 was utilized to conduct refresher training on unit personnel previously CH-47F qualified at other locations.

   As of 1 January 2014, the last known location of 11-08835 was at Desiderio Army Airfield (RKSG or A-511), Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea.

   Aircraft status: Flyable.

             The following CH-47F Chinook helicopters were fielded to B Company - "Innkeepers", 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 2nd Aviation Regiment, located on Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea, beginning in November 2013 and used to support the unit train-up. Airframes are routinely reassigned as necessary so there is no telling where there are now.
